About Me

About Me

Hi! My name is Joy. I am a Christian, a wife to George; my wonderful husband, a preacher's wife, a mom to four pretty special children, who have left the nest and have helped our family grow by adding two sons-in-law and two daughters-in-law. I'm also Bibi to five precious grandchildren. Our family lived in Tanzania, East Africa for five years - from 2007-2012, and after almost 9 years of being back in the U.S.,George and I are heading back to Tanzania in January 2021. I'm a work in progress, learning to find joy in the complicated journey called life.
