Happy New Year to all of you! We’ve taken a packing reprieve and are enjoying an evening together, while ushering in the new year. Packing has been in high gear, getting ready to load a truck which ought to be coming Tuesday, the 4th. I hope you all have some enjoyable family time together, and that you are giving thought to how you will serve God in this new year.

For several months our family has been making plans to move to a completely new area of Tanzania. It has seemed like we would never actually move, but the time is almost here. I accompanied George, along with Carey Samford, on a trip to Iringa, the town to which we are moving. We left Dec. 9 and drove all day. The trip took about 14 hours. We got a hotel and then first thing the next morning our house hunting began. Then the next day we house hunted again, and the next day, and the next. Our goal … |
